Learning Formats

LibLearnX is education for library professionals, by library professionals.

LibLearnX is designed to be an active learning experience. You will take part in experiential learning "learning by doing" in hands-on workshops, bite-sized presentations, deep dives with engaging discussions, and more. And you can create a schedule of sessions to match your learning style and objectives.

See a list of the diverse primary content areas and learning formats below.

ShopTalks

Pick up practical knowledge and tips – and learn about hot topics and trends at these “bite-sized” presentations that focus on a specific idea, project, or workflow. See ShopTalk sessions.

See what our past attendees have said about LibLearnX education sessions ...

I enjoyed participating in breakout rooms during sessions and had some great conversations. It is reassuring to see other librarians asking the same questions and talking about the same issues at other institutions.

LibLearnX gave me dedicated time to focus on skills that I can learn from peers and experts to enhance my ability at work.

LibLearnX is a must-attend learning experience designed for library professionals from all library types and at all career levels.
