Important Updated Move Out Schedule

The LLX Closing Session featuring Ani DiFranco will be held in the LLX Studio on the exhibit floor on Monday from 11:00 am – 12 Noon. The exhibits will also break at Noon. Out of concern for the safety of attendees and to allow them adequate time to exit the exhibit hall, labor will NOT be allowed on the exhibit floor until 12:15pm. GES will begin the removal of aisle carpet at 12:15pm and then, as usual, begin the return of empty crates and cartons. No exceptions will be made and this delay of 15 minutes will not disrupt the dismantle of your exhibit. Your exhibit staff may begin work in the booth at Noon, but aisle must remain clear so that the aisle carpet removal can begin at 12:15pm. Security is aware of this policy and will NOT allow labor on the floor. If you use a third party to dismantle your exhibit, please inform them of this policy. Those who do not comply will be removed from the exhibit hall and potentially the facility. If you have any questions, please see Paul Graller in the exhibits office.

Meet the Authors Submission Site Open

One of the benefits of exhibiting in the ALA LLX Exhibits is the opportunity to promote your author appearances. The Meet the Authors program promotes authors/illustrators appearing in exhibit booths.

Appearances should be submitted through the Meet the Authors submission site. Please click "Join Now" to begin your first submission. You will need to create a new profile even if you have submitted to conferences in the past.

These listings will periodically be migrated to appear in the online LLX Schedule, and will also be included in the mobile app. Submission deadline: January 25, 2023.

Note: this submission site is for participating exhibiting companies only.

Exhibitor Update Newsletters

Periodic Exhibitor Update newsletters are published by Show Management as a service to exhibitors participating in upcoming Shows. The goal is to share new and important information regarding the Show and aid exhibitors in maximizing the effectiveness of their participation. Exhibitors are encouraged to thoroughly read all Exhibitor Update newsletters. An archive of these newsletters will be posted on this page.

Exhibitor Housing

Exhibitors should use this link to book housing.

If you need assistance with any housing-related issues, please contact our housing vendor onPeak at 800/584-9047 or ala@onpeak.com.

IMPORTANT:
Accept no substitutes! Please be aware that there are companies that claim to provide housing and registration services for the ALA conferences that are not affiliated with ALA in any way. The chances are quite good that sometime soon you will receive a fax, e-mail transmission or phone call (if you haven't already) that offers you cut-rate housing. The author's apparent intent is to convince you that the offer is made on behalf of ALA. IT IS NOT. Many exhibitors have become the unwitting victims of these room block poachers who secure exhibitor lists from Internet Web sites and membership databases from the membership directories that associations produce.

Don't be misled! Housing for LibLearnX is handled exclusively by onPeak.

When ALA secures hotel sleeping rooms for our conferences, we do so to assure that our attendees and exhibitors are adequately accommodated. We also require hotels for meeting space for the numerous sessions offered. This involves contracting rooms and space with many hotels, however, doing so will subject us to cancellation and attrition policies.

Everyone loves a bargain. Poaching housing blocks, however, is not about better prices - it is about highly suspect ethics and service. We hope you will support ALA's efforts to thwart the efforts of room block poachers when making your housing arrangements.

Thank you for your support.
