LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience (LLX) is a new collaborative learning experience designed to motivate, inspire, and engage discussion that will shape the future of libraries and their communities. Attendees will also be able to build networks through the planned networking activities and celebrate their peers and colleagues at the award celebrations.
LibLearnX will be hosted, January 27- 30, 2023, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

No. You do not need to be an ALA Member to attend. LibLearnX welcomes library professionals from all library types and at all career levels.
Mastercard, Visa, American Express and checks are accepted. Cash will not be accepted.
If you’d like to register a group, ALA is offering a Register 4 and Get 1 Complimentary Registration option. To register your group, begin by signing in with the first person you’d like to register, then click the "Add Another" button on the Review Information page to add each subsequent registrant. Once you've completed registration for everyone in your group, click "Finish" on the Review page. Note: You will need to enter a unique email address for each person in your group so that they will be able to access the virtual event.
Also, when registering the group of five, the complimentary registration will be reflected on the Payment page. The total cost for all four registrants can be paid via credit card, purchase order, or check. If paying by check, please include the check number in the purchase order number box.
Yes. ALA is offering a Register 7 and Get 3 Complimentary Registrations option. To register, complete the LIS School Group Discount Survey.
Yes. The LLX Marketplace Only option is now available. Meet with exhibitors, hear from author speakers on the LLX Studio stage, participate in the Ideas Xchange and ShopTalk sessions, and visit the ALA Store and the ALA Connect Lounge. The Registration rate is $275. Learn more about the LLX Marketplace.
Yes. LibLearnX offers content intended for library professionals around the world.

Yes, after LibLearnX concludes, the letter can be accessed through your dashboard from your registration confirmation. An email containing your dashboard link will also be sent to you after the conference.
You will have access to selected on-demand content through March 3, 2023.
Yes. You can register for the online LLX Digital Experience. A virtual option that offers live and on-demand access to 40+ specially curated sessions, including:
- The Opening and Closing sessions
- A curated selection of Learning Lab and ShopTalk education sessions
- Author speakers on the LLX Studio stage
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Observance and Sunrise Celebration
- ALA Youth Media Awards
- Book and Media Awards and Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction

LLX Digital Experience registration will include on-demand access to these sessions through March 3, 2023.
The ALA Governance meetings will take place during LibLearnX. See the Governance Schedule.
You can sign up for the ALA Governance Institute (AGI) when you register for LibLearnX―there is no separate registration process. Participation in the AGI is open to the first 200 LLX registrants who sign up. If you need to add to your existing registration or confirm that you are registered you can do so by visiting the registration dashboard found in your confirmation. Select Demographic information and then you can edit your selection there. Once the limit of 200 people has been reached, a waitlist will be added.

Strollers and scooters are permitted in the LLX Marketplace if they are always in use. Wheeled carts, however, are not permitted at any time. If you have a medical condition requiring you to use a cart, please bring a doctor's note to the accessibility booth in Hall J Lobby.

Yes, complimentary Shuttle Buses from official hotel locations and the Convention Center will be available. See Shuttle Schedule and additional details.
Yes. There will be a private and comfortable space allocated to nursing mothers located in the Morial Convention Center.
Yes. The Community of Care Quiet Room, located in the Morial Convention Center - Room 276, will be available for attendees in need of a calm space.
